Well... I think that Naruto is better because he's a kage level ninja because of hard work. If you say that he is good only because of kyuubi inside him, it's the same as saying that sasuke is good because of sharinghan and Pein because of his rinnegan. Everyone has their speciality.

Believe me, I don't hate Sasuke in Shippuden, but I found him kinda annoying in the beginning part. Overall, I never hated Naruto. He is just funny. That's why I prefer Naruto. ^_^

Naruto wants to turn back time to before the time that Sasuke ran off to Orochimaru and continue from there as if nothing happened. Sasuke has become a psychopath who can't help but childishly lash out in anger, with the criterion for his target selection becoming ever looser, from the single guy responsible, to anyone it might benefit him to kill, anyone that is the most remotely connected, and even people he no longer deems useful. Sasuke is evil, Naruto is good if flawed. But if we are talking about characters, then Naruto is exciting, he takes me on an emotional and action packed roller coaster. Sasuke is dull because he is cool. It's not interesting for a character to be cool unless he is usually lame. I sometimes hold out hope for Sasuke, but then he does something evil and that makes me feel hostility towards him. Naruto may be a stubborn idiot, but he then accomplishes great things, comes up with brilliant ideas, and succeeds against the odd, but he also sometimes fails or just slips up which keeps up the tension. In any case, I hate Sasuke and like Naruto. I only liked Sasuke until the fight on the roof of the hospital. Since then I've thought of him as an arrogant snob with a superiority complex who is way too obsessed with himself and way too negative about everything. And now he has become a psychopath.

Prefer Naruto for his hard work and keep Kyuubi in check, im sure Naruto life is worser than Sasuke thanks to the Kyuubi influence. Don't really like Sasuke cause he keep whining about his life and urge for more power even if he got some trauma as a kid, this is too much pain that he cause to everyone, imagine if he ever had Kyuubi im sure he will get tempted by it's power and....wow, Konoha is doomed.

Am I the only girl in the world besides my sister, who thinks Naruto is sexy? He's so awesome and nice. Sauske is an ugly, pale little emo bitch who needs to get over his problems. Naruto never even got to experience what it was like to have a family like sauske has, and we dont see him taking revenge on everything in a hundred mile radius...

I prefer Naruto. Sometimes its hard for me to choose between the two because of how Naruto constantly puts himself and other people in danger to run after Sasuke no matter how horrible he acts toward him. It gets to the point where i'm like 'enough already!'its obvious the man just wants to be left to his own devices. But other than that, Naruto's determination can at times be endearing and he has such a positive and happy outlook no matter what happens that I find it hard to completely dislike him. Sasuke, on the other hand, comes off as an arrogant, selfish brat who cares for nothing but ultimately himself. He used to just disappoint me, but after recent manga chapters its obvious he's gone off the deep end, and while Sasuke supporters can argue differently, I feel he's lost all of what made him interesting, his level head, principles and intelligence.

Naruto is actually a nice person who likes to help people and make things better. Sasuke just sits around all day and whines about how he must "restore his clan" and complains whenever he has to do something. He runs off to Orochimaru and becomes an even more messed up person and hurts both Naruto and Sakura in doing so. He's really weak because he never gets over his problems or even tries to solve them he just sits in a corner crying about it. I understand it totally sucks to lose your whole family but years later he's still using it as an excuse to be angry and annoyed 24/7.

I don't hate sasuke, is just that I prefer Naruto more. Imagine someone that is same attitude as sasuke and you stay with him whole day. Hard to breathe.

I can't stand Sasuke. Not to say Naruto is the best character in the show by far but he's not, but i love Naruto much better. Don't really care for either, Sasuke started off mysterious and suave but now he's an emotional wreck. Naruto was more or less an idiot but lately he seems to have matured and become much more calm and collected(thankfully ><),still his character never really had much going for him in my opinion. Nothing even vaguely intriguing plot wise.Sasuke had his predestined fight with his brother and the objective of discovering the truth of his brother's betrayal, which kept me anxiously waiting weeks on end for the outcome.Naruto's plot just for me personally seemed to lack any pull.Even with the whole coming to terms with having a demon reside with in him, his overall stupidity and desperate desire for Sakura who treated him like crap just seemed to outweigh it all and just made him seem downright pathetic.Much of the lack in Naruto's plot development largely remains the same, but now he's A LOT less annoying and Sasuke has just become unbearable with all his drama and emotional distress (it's like a damn soap opera).So I'd say now I prefer Naruto more as lately I'm finding myself more drawn to his character, but the 8 tails /9 tails Arc needs to f--king end, BEE is utterly annoying and not the least bit funny.I Cringe at every one of his lame attempts at rap ><.

Well, I don't hate Sasuke, per se. I find him quite a beautiful character, actually. Not in the physical sense, but I suppose that can count too. For all you people saying that Naruto was handed everything, and that Sasuke kicked Naruto's ass, think about it. Why did Sasuke kick Naruto's ass when he decided to join Orochimaru? Because of the cursed seal. How is that any different than Naruto having the Ninetails? Not only the cursed seal, but now he's only more powerful because of the fact that he has Itachi's eyes. As for Naruto, I do think he is a weak character that has been pretty much handed everything in life. I believe the only true accomplishments he's made are his clone techniques and the rasengan. Jiraya made it so he could use the Kyuubi's chakra, everyone else has had to stop the transformation of him becoming the Kyuubi, and his mother is the one who helped him to control the Kyuubi. Personally, I think sage mode is a load of crock, because it's not really his own powers he's using. Either way, Sasuke pisses me the fuck off, because he's so fucking emo that it's...not even possible to describe in any human language. I mean, seriously? He decides, after killing his brother, that he really did love him, that it wasn't really his brother's fault that everything had to happen, and that he wants to avenge his brother...and yet, his brother went through SO much to protect Konoha. So Sasuke's logic? Destroy Konoha. If you want to avenge your brother, then protect Konoha, you moron. Itachi is probably watching from the afterlife going "WTF IS YOU PROBLEM?!"

How can u not hate Sasuke? Being hot and looking cool does not make you a man. Naruto is much more of a man than Sasuke. On one had sasuke has the upper hand in skill while naruto has more raw power and through out the second part of the series Naruto has slowly been gaining more skills to control his raw power. don't get me wrong i love naruto to bits but i prefer Sasuke. You can't blame him for acting the way he does. He was taken on an emotional roller coaster, he was lead to believe that his family was killed by his own brother and in the end, itachi was used by the village as a pawn. More so, Sasuke TRAINED to get the power he has now, he was able to use the cursed seal to his advantage unlike naruto that when he loses control he hurts people. Sasuke had to leave to get rid of distraction, and if you understand what he's been through you'd see and grow to love him, he's stronger than you think

Why is everyone hating on Sasuke? He's my favorite charater in all of Naruto (Next to Itachi-san of course :)). So he may be a little emo at times, so what? We all get emo at times, and he has a damn good reason to be emo. His entire clan was killed by his older brother and then he watched him die right before his very eyes. Sorry to all you Naruto lovers but Sasuke has a reason to be so pissed, cold, and emo all the time like he is. Ever heard of the medical condition "Post-Traumatic Stress"? If you don't know, it is most likely caused by traumatic experiences in your past that can change who you are for better or (in Sasuke's case) for worse. I wouldn't ever the the same again if i watched my brother die in front of me (yes, I have two brothers so I know what it's like), so I know what I'm talking about. Once again, sorry all you Naruto lovers, but Sasuke has some serious balls for getting this far and not committing suicide yet. I'm definantly going with Sasuke.

Sasuke is evil, sure, but he provides a good, strong character for this series. And he doesn't talk nonstop and act like a complete and total idiot, unlike Naruto. Let's face it, without the kyuubi, Naruto would have died or had his ass kicked sooo many times it's not even funny. Sasuke's sharingan do not kick in at the last moment and save him; he has to save himself. And the power of his eyes weaken him, so, yeah, sometimes he does need help. But he needs it way less often than Naruto. But maybe I'm biased, since I've disliked Naruto (the character) since the first couple episodes... Wow...this is a very long comment. Duh, he has been psychologically damaged and it wasn't his fault. I completely understand where he's coming from. I still wish he would go back to the leaf though cause I miss seeing him, naruto, and sakura together as a team. I don't have anything against naruto though either. I think he is pretty amazing. I mean, he had a rough childhood too but he's growing up to become the Hokage and I know he will achieve his dream. He has too much drive not to. :)
